Well, here is the final segment of the Eco Wedding shoot I did at the end of January. I apologize for the delay in posting this, but I have a few good excuses (prepping all week for the wedding fair and some family emergencies lately).
I am so excited about this part of the shoot! This is the part that comprises the culmination of everything I intended for this photoshoot ~ green wedding vendors that are local to Vancouver. I really wanted to focus on showing what fantastic resources we have in our own backyards in regards to recycled, sustainably-grown or sustainably-made items for your wedding. And there is lots out there! All you need to do is a little bit of legwork in researching some alternative options and you might start to find some surprising things out there! And this is a good place to start.
Since it was the middle of winter, I also wanted to focus on a West Coast wintry, rustic, woodland theme so I made sure to incorporate lots of natural textures with jute, bark, natural knits and Patty’s gorgeous gown fabrics. And being the dead of winter, I also needed a location that would have dual indoor/outdoor function and the Eighteen Pastures Golf Course in Mission provided just the right amount of rustic-ness that I needed. Of course, it rained pretty much the whole day, otherwise I would have taken more photos of this lovely dress outside!
