So many flowers. All different colours. A sunny bride. A gentle groom. Kind family and friends.
What amazing weddings I get to be a part of.
More to come……
My evening tonight consisted of this……sunset bliss at Whytecliff Park with newlyweds Tim and Amy.
More to come…..
Tim and Amy tied the knot in Squamish this past weekend along with 60 out-of-town guests from all over the world. It was a wonderful day with lots of sun, good company and a laid-back reception at the Howe Sound Brew Pub. Enjoy the preview, there will be more to follow!
Finally.
What we’ve all be waiting for around here.
A little bit of sun to warm the toes. The smell of fresh cut lawns. Homemade lemonade. Running through sprinklers. Riding bikes. Popsicles.
All that good stuff.
I’m taking a break this evening to ponder how much my son has grown, looking over old photos…..he’s getting so big and funny and clever.
It’s scary how fast they grow.
I’ve known Emily now for some odd 5 years and when she approached me about her wedding, I was so excited. And I was even more excited when she said that they were going to have their nuptials at the Strathcona Park Lodge, an outdoors mecca located approximately 40 minutes west of Campbell River on Vancouver Island. I could not have chosen a better place for Emily and Meic to get married……they love the outdoors - anything from running to skiing and all other outdoors activities in between. And what an ideal place to offer a little getaway for your family and friends as well!
I ordered up some sun for the weekend and as I found out later on from my husband, it was some of the only sun that BC saw that weekend. It was gorgeous with clear, sunny skies, a sparkling blue lake and a very quaint, rustic lodge with grounds to match. There was certainly no shortage of beautiful secluded spots to photograph the beaming couple and their wedding party of two.
I also have to mention my lovely assistant for the day, Damara, who accompanied me for the weekend from Vancouver and was a stellar traveling companion!
Thanks so much to your families and friends for welcoming us wholeheartedly into your wedding day, Emily and Meic! It was wonderful and beautiful and I feel very honored to have been even such a small part of your wedding day!
