Any time a couple suggests to go to Lighthouse Park for their Engagement Session is completely alright by me. There is nothing else that beats a walk through the woods with towering trees, the ocean sounds a stones throw away and if you are lucky, the call of an eagle above the tree tops. I was really looking forward to this particular day because not only were we heading for Lighthouse Park, but it was the first day in a long series of officially spring-like days and it was really pleasant outside. It was the end of February and we were comfortably baring our arms to the skies. Only on the West Coast.
But first we met at a spot I have been eying for a little while now before our traffic-filled trek to West Vancouver. When the sun comes out to play, so does the rest of the city. But we made it just in time for the beginning of the sunset and made a beeline for the West Beach trail. There were lots of people out but once we hit the trails, it wasn’t so bad and we shared the rocky shore with a handful of others. We spent some time exploring the shore, looking for critters and generally just enjoying the views. What a spectacular day to be outside.
I am so looking forward to Denise and Kyle’s late spring wedding at the Brix. They will be having a Day of the Dead theme so I am super thrilled to see that all come together. I have to restrain myself from sending Denise too many Day of the Dead themed wedding items because let’s be honest - this girl kinda likes the details.
