Back in February, I participated in the Just Add Love Wedding Show, which was a really great experience. I got to meet a lot of brides-to-be and also a lot of other vendors. As a part of the show, I offered a short Engagement Session to one winning couple in attendance and Dina and Bryan were the lucky ones! We met for their Granville Island Engagement Session on a brisk spring morning and spent a bit of time checking out a few key locations for their shoot. On the south side of Granville Island there is a grove of cherry trees planted in a circle that is so cute and I finally got my chance to shoot there, while everything was still in bloom. Dream come true! And all the colours worked so perfectly; Dina’s soft blush dress and Bryan’s plaid button down with the pops of orange and pink was the ideal combination. And her shoes! Oh my goodness. We had to do just one of the shoes at the end of the session, well, just because! I love the light and spring-like feel of this session and I hope you do too!
