A long time ago, I took out a cookbook from the public library and at the back of the book were all these fabulous recipes for things like marinated olives, pestos, tapenades and infused oils and vinegars. I photocopied some of the recipes with good intentions and never really got around to experimenting with any of them. Until September when I looked at my Rosemary plant in the garden, the garlic in my wicker basket and the Olive oil on my counter and resolved to finally try it.
The taste is amazing! I highly recommend trying this easy way to dress up your Olive oil ~ it adds a bit of extra flavour interest to simple recipes.
